How Does a Vacuum Cleaner Work?

Almost every home has a vacuum cleaner in it. Do you know how a vacuum works?

Vacuum cleaners need electricity. The cord must be plugged into a socket. When you switch it on, the motor turns a fan around. The fan spins. Air is pushed out of the vacuum cleaner through a tube. This is called the exhaust. You probably don't even know there's air blowing out. The fan spins very fast. It spins about 25,000 times each minute!
