Mardi Gras

"Laissez le bon temps rouler!" Mark put his book down. He was reading about New Orleans. He had just started the chapter about customs.


"Bob, what does that mean?" Mark asked. He pointed at the words.


Bob was Mark's older brother. He had just graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Mark thought Bob knew everything.


"Let the good times roll," Bob said. "The words are French. It is usually said at Mardi Gras time."
