Velociraptor (veh-LAH-sih-RAP-tur) was a small dinosaur. It was a carnivore. It killed and ate other dinosaurs. It lived in Asia about 85 million years ago. It ran on two long, sturdy back legs. It could run fast! It had a long, stiff tail. The tail helped it balance. It had short arms. It had three sharp claws on each hand. It used them to grab its prey. It had a big head. This tells us it was smart. It had eighty sharp teeth. It also had feathers! Velociraptor mothers laid .....
