Paying Your Credit Card Bill

It seems that "everyone" pays with a credit card these days. Credit cards are easy and convenient, but you must be careful with them. Like everything else, you have to pay the bill every month.

If you have a credit card, you will receive a statement every month. It will list your name and address. You should make sure this information is correct. The statement will also list your charges. These are things you used your credit card to pay for. The statement will also list any credits for items you returned to the store as well as any payments that you made on your account.

Charges for things you bought are listed item by item on your statement. The date of the charge, the name of the store or company, and the phone number or address should be listed. And, of course, the amount of the charge should be in the last column. Check these carefully.
