Punctuating Veterans Day

November 11 is Veteran's Day. Or maybe it's Veterans' Day. Or it could be Veterans Day. I'm confused. Does it make a difference how I write it? What are the grammar rules? Veteran's (with an apostrophe "s") is a singular possessive noun. Does the day belong to only one veteran? I hope not! Veterans' Day (with an "s" apostrophe) is a plural possessive noun. Does the day belong to all veterans? Well, maybe. How about the third choice? Veterans Day has no apostrophe because it doesn't show possession. In .....
