Some people even rush to do something relaxing. Hurrying seems like a normal part of life, but there is one silly holiday that might help people slow down. World Sauntering Day is a day to walk slowly and take your time.

In order to properly saunter, it might be a good idea to understand the definition of the word. Saunter is a word that sounds a little bit like what it means. According to Merriam-Webster, to saunter means "to walk about in an idle or leisurely manner." According to this online dictionary, this word is in the bottom 50% of lookups on Merriam-Webster.com.
