Singers

Many people like to sing, even if they don't sing very well. Singing helps them express how they are feeling. Sometimes singing makes them feel happy. Not everyone wants to be a professional singer, though.

Professional singers use their voices to entertain other people. Their skill is usually a combination of talent and training. Most professional singers work with a voice teacher or coach. Singers usually start training when their voices are mature. Many of them get their first experience by being in school musicals or choirs.

Talent and training are not enough to make a successful career, though. Young people who want to be singers should also have poise, good stage presence, creativity, and the ability to deal with change. They must be healthy and strong, too. There is a lot of travel, and performance schedules are not regular. Singers have to be on top of their game when they perform.
