Summer Camping

Mom looked worried and said, "I still have to find room for the cooler. I have our drinks and sandwiches in there. We have to find a place for it."

"Don't worry, you guys. I can shift some of this luggage into the camper," said Dad with a smile. "There will be plenty of room."

Finally, everything was stowed away, and everyone piled into the car. "This is going to be the best vacation ever," said Lucy. "I have been looking forward to this for months. I thought school would never be done."

"Me, too," said Randy. "I want to do some fishing on the lake. Dad, do you think we can park the trailer near the water? I think it would be great to be able to just walk out of the camper and catch some fish."

"We'll have to see," said Dad. "You never know what spaces will be open, but we will get there early. They say that the beginning of the week is the best time to find a good spot."

"Lucy, what are you looking forward to doing this week?" asked Mom. "You know we have a lot of things available for us to do. Randy, I think even you will be willing to put down your fishing pole in order to do some of the other things."

"Maybe, but I want to do a lot of fishing," said Randy.

"I want to go horseback riding," said Lucy. "I read in this brochure that there is a really great place to ride right next to the park that we are staying at. What do you want to do, Mom?"
