Suzy Kline writes books for kids. That is the job she has now. She used to have a different job. She used to be a teacher. She was a teacher for many years. That is how she got many of the ideas for her books.
Suzy Kline always liked writing. It was her favorite thing to do in school. It was most fun when she got to choose what to write about. She also liked to write letters to her grandpa. He lived far away. They didn't get to see each other very often. Suzy liked writing to him. She knew that the letters made him happy. That made her feel good about writing.
