The Play-Magic Garden

The Grant family lived in Arizona. They lived far away from Grandma and Grandpa Grant in Ohio. They could not visit often. This year, they were going to make the trip.

Bob, Tammy, and Ray were looking forward to the trip. First, they went to the airport. Then they flew on an airplane halfway across the country.

It was exciting being able to look down through the clouds. Everything on the ground looked so small.

Finally, the plane landed. The family rented a car and drove to the home of Grandma and Grandpa Grant.

The small house was just as the children remembered it. There was a small garden out front near the front door. Out back through the arbor gate, was a larger, fenced yard.

Grandma and Grandpa greeted them all at the front door.

"Welcome!" Grandma said. "It is so good to see you. Bring your things in."

They gave everyone a hug and a kiss. Then Grandma led them to where they would stay. A few minutes later, everyone went to the kitchen.

Bob, Tammy, and Ray were ready to go outside. They had rested long enough. They sat in their chairs, wiggling their feet.
