Decisiveness
By Brenda B. Covert

1     Decisiveness is a character trait that demonstrates one's ability to sort through information and make an informed choice. Those who are decisive cannot be called wishy-washy. Decisiveness is a trait that leaders possess. The opposite of decisiveness is indecisiveness. It could also be procrastination. Someone who is decisive will not put words, actions, or choices off until later.

2     Have you ever been in the presence of a couple who could not make decisions? Maybe they didn't know what they wanted for dinner. "What do you want?"

3     "I don't know; what do you want?"
