1     November 11 is Veteran's Day. Or maybe it's Veterans' Day. Or it could be Veterans Day. I'm confused. Does it make a difference how I write it? What are the grammar rules? Veteran's (with an apostrophe "s") is a singular possessive noun. Does the day belong to only one veteran? I hope not! Veterans' Day (with an "s" apostrophe) is a plural possessive noun. Does the day belong to all veterans? Well, maybe. How about the third choice? Veterans Day has no apostrophe because it doesn't show possession. In this case, the noun .....
