A terrible thing happened at school last week. It turned out okay, but we were all upset, especially Kenny. Well, maybe I should start at the beginning.
Kenny is my best friend. We have been friends since we were five years old. We play football together. We both have hobbies. I like gardening. I grow a lot of vegetables every year. Kenny likes coin collecting. He has been collecting coins for a couple of years. He has some really good coins in his collection.
Well, this is National Coin Week. Mr. Lee, our teacher, knows about Kenny's coin collection. He asked Kenny to bring his collection to school. He wanted the whole class to see it.
Kenny did not mind taking his coins to school. This time, though, he was a little worried. He was going with his club to a coin show. They would show their coins to other collectors. Maybe they would be able to trade coins. Kenny did not want to lose any of his collection before the show.
Kenny has a lot of coins. He has old coins and new ones. He even has some coins that are one hundred years old! He has silver coins and gold coins. He has some coins that are different shapes and some that have holes in them. He has coins from many different countries.
