Art in the Heart

Sheila fell into step with her new friend Erica as they both headed toward the college dining hall.

"Are you ready for lunch?" Sheila asked.

"I sure am. That art history class was a bear this morning," Erica replied.

"I thought you liked that class," Sheila said.

"I do. I just don't like it for four hours straight."

"Wow. Is it that long every week?"

"No. The teacher has to be off next week, and she wanted to cover a bunch of material before she left."

"Did she lecture the whole time?" Sheila asked.

Erica held open the door for her friend. "She did for most of it. Fortunately, she uses a lot of slides and also lets us get up and walk around. It is also interesting to learn about the history of certain pieces of art."
