Mushers and Sled Dogs

Well, hello to you. My name is Ivan. What is your name? Is this your first time to visit Alaska? Oh, you want to know more about me.

First of all, I want to tell you about the things I love. There are two things in this world I love more than anything. One of them is snow. Snow is the most beautiful thing in the world. I love to play in the snow. The other thing I love is running. I run as much as I can. I love to get together with my friends and run. They all love to run, too. All of us are very fast.

By the way, I'm an Alaskan husky. We are usually called sled dogs. Sled dogs are very smart and strong. In order to be a sled dog, we have to be able to run in very cold temperatures, wind, and snow. We have to be well trained to listen and do what we are told. We also have to be willing to be harnessed and work with other dogs to pull a sled in a race.
